One of Europe’s most successful family-owned manufacturers of high quality, added value chilled and frozen food products have created a new opportunity for an Senior Account Manager to drive and further develop their presence within the Foodservice and Business to Business channels. Following excellent business growth in recent years and a number of business acquisitions, they have established themselves as a leading supplier of award winning food products into both the Retail and Foodservice channels. As a result of their growth, the business is seeking a high calibre foodservice sales professional to join the team.

Role

As a Senior National Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for a portfolio of both Foodservice and Business to Business account. Larger accounts in the portfolio include Samworth Brothers, Greencore, 2 Sisters, JD Wetherspoon, Brakes and Bidfood to name a few. In addition to the management of the mentioned accounts you will be tasked with developing new trading relationships across the two channels. Reporting into the Business Development Director, you will work in an autonomous environment with the ability to influence commercial decisions.  As well as working with the wider commercial team, you will liaise with the development and procurement teams to ensure the best delivery to customers.

Requirements

The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills and possess the ability to build strong customer relationships. You will have a strong understand and network within the B2B or Foodservice channels. Experience of working with private label food products is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to be in their West Yorkshire head office two/three days per week.
